Emily’s music career began at an early age; in elementary school, she performed at talent shows, was in the choir, and sang in programs. By the time Emily was 12, her nerves got the best of her and she took a break from performing. When she was 15 she met her husband Jeff (Eye-Cue). As Eye-Cue expanded his musical talents so did Emily. She heard these amazing beats and wanted to write lyrics to them. With her amazing and unique voice it was only a matter of time until she performed again. She teamed up with Native; they wrote a track and began to perform. Eye-Cue was writing lyrics to his beats and kicking flows by himself, so they decided to team up and formed Sweetleaf 2 years ago with Dominic Deadbeat. Emily is interested in all types of music, but has found her home in Hip Hop. She wants to collaborate with as many talented artists as possible, her uniquely amazing voice adds something to every song.
